gLeNaTeXt - "One of a Kind"

"The Original Members of gLeNaTeXt"
Philosophy:
" Live life to its fullest."

Motto:
"Together we passed, divided we fail."
           thus...
"All for one; one for all"

Rationale:

gLeNaTeXt is a group of random individuals originated at Davao del Norte State College. All of them are students(except me), striving and looking forward to conquer the chosen course - Bachelor of Science in Information Technology-. The group was formed during the 1st semester of academic year 2010 - 2011 as i handle the subject IT 2 (Program Logic Formulation), all of my students during that time were randomly selected from all other available sets among the freshmen IT. Out of all the bonding, group discussions and dynamics, brainstorming and of course group study, a deep concern, love and friendship were established. Now, we are even bonded, stronger and ready to face the 2nd semester for this present school year.

....watch out for more updates....a lot of story will be told as we are going to explore - the survival of the fittest during this semester (2nd semester) which is said to be the fall season for IT Freshmen.

Sino and matitira sa kanila? Who will be able to conquer and surpassed the subject IT 5 - Introduction to Computer Programming I.

..you better watch out..(sar!!!)

DNSC Imortal

I know that most of you are familiar with Imortal - ABS-CBN top rated show , especially we Filipinos. But wait this DNSC Imortal is not and will not be a sequel for this series(as if naman pud puede - hahaha). We're gonna make our own name(char). Actually, this is only a local version of this show but  our own version is somewhat can be called as a reality show(owvvverrrr). It comprises a group of people with individual differences  having a unique powers????...hahaha(joke only)...In short, this will be a parody of the show. We're just having some fun emulating the cast of this top rated show.

But before i will continue this post of mine i have to give a synopsis of the Imortal.

Imortal is a sequel to the 2008 ABS-CBN fantasy series, Lobo. The previous series also starred Angel Locsin opposite Piolo Pascual. However, Lobo story-wise only included wolves without any reference of vampires. Although Locsin must be playing an almost identical character, it is revealed that her character in Imortal will be the daughter of her     character in Lobo, which would explain the resemblance.

As far as the show is concerned, regarding with the effects  and how the story goes, a thumbs-up for ABS-CBN. The show was quiet terrific, not just how the story was delivered but also the cast. I like most the character of Maricar Reyes who acted as the antogonist of the story, claiming that she should be and must be the leader of the vampire clan.

Maricar Reyes known as Sam is a  famous eventologist by day, Sam is a vampire who hides in the shadows of the night. All her life, she has only known one thing – the sacred mission that she must fulfill of leading the vampires out of the Taong Lobo's iron rule. As she lays out her intricate plan for war, she must also battle the doubts that plague her and decide who she really is in the end.(char - naa nay source naa sa below..haha)

Sam wanted to save the vampires from a sure great destruction/fight between the vampires and the lycans - the clan leaded by Angel Locsin.

Anyways, too much for that, it's just that i admired the show so much and wanted to tell story after all as what i've heard.(haha - ambot lang kung tama pud na xa tanan- toinx).

To appreciate it, you got to watch for it daily during the primetime bida.

..xooOOxooOO..

Voodoo Dolls - My Obsession

Buknoy and Louie
What is a voodoo doll?

Voodoo is a powerful mystical practice that can bring spectacular gifts and rewards to anyone who believes, who is willing to place his destiny in the hands of loving spirits, who await the call of service.

Voodoo DollsThe Voodoo doll is used to represent the spirit of a specific person. You can address the doll as if you are talking to that person, requesting a change in attitude, influencing the person to act in accordance with your wishes, your desires.

Once in possession of an authentic Voodoo doll, you can request the doll to call upon powerful forces known as Loa. You can perform a simple but effective ritual to fulfill a specific dream, an urgent desire. This timeless ceremony is carried out to persuade the spirits to exert their influence in this world

I do fond playing with voodoo dolls. It is just that i love its uniqueness unlike any other doll, the voodoo is somewhat a type of a powerful doll?

Even by that i did not used it in searching for a solution to a difficult problem of mine just like trying to mend a conflict, return a lover, accumulate wealth...blahhh3 just like any other believers of it does.

I do not believe in it. Besides, i have only one GOD and that is our savior Jesus Christ.

My first-two voodoo dolls
V1 and V2

I just like to collect them. As of now i have 4 voodoo dolls and all of them are handsome and beautiful. Sad to say i lost one of them the one i named Louie, that was the time when i went to Tagum City then i left Louie at the bus. I felt so sad because it was given by a special someone, but still i will try my best to look for another doll which has a resemblance to the i lost.(hehe)

It would be very appreciated if you could give me one voodoo doll and i'll make it sure to name it as you.(hehe)

My First Profession

Who would have guess or expect that i'm now a TEACHER?
..no one..even me, myself never in my life i dream/expect to become such one for the fact that i hate teacher's works such as recording grades, preparing class lessons and most of all going to school everyday.

..but now i'm in the mode of teaching.

The very first reason i guess why is it i prefer to teach in the same school i graduated is that i fond being together with my dearest friend Keeren Ziah Gameng as she is presently teaching in the school. I couldn't imagine myself to go or explore into something new without her company.Yes, i admit that was the initial reason..

If you would ask if i was able to hunt for other job,yes i did..i passed the initial interview for me to become a call center agent and was given a chance to be back for final briefing and was given also an opportunity to be trained but then i rejected it. Maybe it's just that i don't feel working in that kind of environment and having such graveyard shifting schedule.

I've tried also to apply at our Provincial Government of Compostela Valley but then i got tired waiting for the result because during that time is the election ban and they are not allowed to employ somebody for a certain job in the capitol, thus i started to work at DNSC - my Alma Mater though i can sense the big possibility to be employed right after the election ban.

Even if i was given the same chance to work either in DNSc or at the Capitol, still i preferred to be here at DNSC, that was my conclusion a month after i got my job here..

During my work and stay and some experiences garnered, i was able to conclude to myself that it is not really the monetary issue that matters but for me it is more on enjoyment, working environment and the passion to teach.

Passion to teach???("at first makaingon q na hilasa pud woi..haha..naa pay passion2")

I don't like teaching - i always speak to it, but action speaks louder than words..i just find out that i like most that somebody will able to learn something i wanted him/her to learn..

It seems like it is a great achievement to my part knowing that my students were able to learn something from me. A feeling that is quiet awesome and fulfilling.. an inexpressible feeling that can brought expressive happiness to my being.

I enjoyed most that bonding with my co-IT Faculty and Staff. The endearment my students they are calling for me ( Sir Glenne,Prof. Glenne) ----("waahh kahilas")... To work in an environment such as what i have here in DNSC is such a lovable experience wherein there is no big hesitation regarding approaches to the co-mentors.. all of them are worth to be loved and cherished.

Now that my duty here was extended for another 6 more months i just wished all the best. I know that i need something, a job wherein i want to draw my career path..i don't what is it..but i know it is not in teaching...

I was pressured as i know that there is a great responsibility that was being put in my shoulders and for that a great adventure is waiting for me..

But as of now, i just would like to enjoy the remaining stay here in DNSC...

Still, all of the great experiences here will serve as my footsteps on my way on to success...

Wish me luck...

surigao escapade

After all the tears and somewhat sadness that everyone felt during the graduation, one great escapade has been made by a group of people...randomly selected from the fresh graduate of the BSIT 4th year batch 2009-2010...
The said escapade was being enjoyed at Surigao del sur. There are 20 of us from different group,,namely,, me from JAWA, the KEME, the Solid, overnighters and NoBreed..

That was a great event to be cherished with, we have been to different beaches as we try to reach and stay even for a while in every beaches we could see. I was able to jump at the falls and that was a very lunatic experience i ever done.(hahaha). They couldn't believe that i can dare myself to do it..

The best thing that i have done there is that i was able to visit my relatives there and the fact that my friends were able to reach the place and somewhat enjoy the sceneries are quiet a worthwhile experience.

I really hope to have a comeback visit...xOOxOo..

Goodbye DNSC???

Another chapter of my life has ended
...my stay in DNSC is over...
...DNSC, my alma mater, a great refuge of knowledge and experience..the source of what i am today...the owner of my acquired knowledge...i'l be missing you...

It's been a four- year long stay i had in DNSC. I was able to get my diploma after all, but having all those - knowledge, insights, diploma even pains and sufferings weren't easy at all.

I experience the greatest downfall in my life in which i committed a mistake which me myself couldn't believe that i was able to do it. Fortunately i was able to surpass it and able to recover.

I dreamt to excel in my academe: that i should do this,i should get this but later...i got tired still i manage to become a dean's lister for the academic year 2008-2009.
I got tired, discourage and even felt pity on myself due to some factors in my environment. I am competent and inspired but it wasn't enough i should exerted more patience more effort and dedication.

But..it's too late..

The dream to have somewhat an academic award at the end of the course was banished!

Though-out all of these, i still manage to smile because i earned friends, i garnered experiences and i am guided with all the insights that i was able to comprehend during that 4 long years of happiness and learnings.

Thanks God for such success!!!

Wi-Fi "Wild Finale" Night - March 12,2009

Wi-Fi Night is a variety show sponsored by the Information Technology Society of DNSC. It is a show in which the talents of all the IT students as well as the faculty and staff are being showcased. As the president of the society, i initiated to organized a kind of show as part of the Income Generating Project.

It is so overwhelming to know that the event was a huge success. At least, the effort of those who work hand in hand in order for it to become successful are not being wasted. I am so glad to have a working forces - my ITS officers - they are always there for me, supporting me through ups and down. Of course, the ever energetic IT students, they are always been my inspiration since at first that i accepted this responsibility.

It is always a privilege for my part that i was given a chance to be the president of the society. From the support given by the faculty and staff of the IIT especially to our dean Engr. Rogelio A. Masangkay i always take every actions of mine as a great challenge for me to lift the banner of the IIT. I could'nt ask for more for the trust that they gave to me, for the advises and corrections made by Engr. Hazel Gameng "Ma'am Jing", i really aprreciate it and very much thankful from the bottom of my heart that i was able to work and should i say have fun with her.

It could'nt be a huge succeess also without the brilliant ideas of my ever supportive friend and a faculty also of the IIT, Ms. Keeren Ziah Gameng. A great thanks for her for all the ideas, support, advises and encouragement being given to me. Good Vibes!!!!!!

What i've done for the society is the only best that i could offer. Wi-Fi Night was the last activity sponsored by the society. I am almost done, being the President. Now that the society was being reorganized already, with Charlemagne Marchan as the new president,I do always hope for the best.

After all, i hope that they will always remember me as part of their lives, not just a president but a kuya whom they can call as a friend..

P.S

By the way, it was my first time to dance on stage that is why i was not able to show some expertness...But given a chance to dance again in the next W-Fi Night show,,,why not??????jeje,,,just kidding.....

...watch for my farewell message to all IT students...
